IN-PERSON PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE

KYTC has scheduled an in-person open house for Wednesday, Oct. 25, to give the public another opportunity to explore recommended improvements for the I-71/75 and I-275 interchange and surrounding areas. This event is an opportunity to review and discuss in-person the improvements that were shared with the public through the Virtual Open House held in January and February earlier this year.

At the open house, you can review the recommended changes and discuss any questions you may have with project team representatives. Anyone unable to attend the in-person open house can review the information and share their feedback through the Virtual Open House, which has been reopened in support of this input opportunity. IMPROVEMENT CONCEPTS FOR I-75/I-275 INTERCHANGE 

Improvement concepts identified for the I-75/I-275 Interchange Scoping Study and were made available for public review and comment through a Virtual Public Open House held from January 10, 2023 to February 10, 2023. Materials from the meeting including a Public Input Summary Report are posted on the Public Input page.

PUBLIC INPUT SURVEY RESULTS

In 2019, KYTC conducted an online survey to gather input from the traveling public regarding their experiences when traveling through the interchange area and the challenges they encounter. Nearly 1,900 individuals completed the survey and together, provided 24,000 responses and submitted 3,800 comments. A report summarizing the input received is posted on the Public Input page of this website.

KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET LAUNCHES STUDY TO IDENTIFY IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE I-75/I-275 INTERCHANGE AND SURROUNDING AREA | AUGUST 5, 2019 

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has launched a scoping study to identify and evaluate alternatives to reduce congestion, improve travel safety and promote better connectivity at the I-75/I-275 interchange and near vicinity. KYTC’s goal is to identify planned improvements by early 2020 and expects construction to be completed in phases, as funding allows. (Click for full release)
